Face and hands makeup.
This is probably the most critical aspect of your easy homemade halloween costume.
You need to apply Black shadows around the eyes, on the cheeks, neck and hands. Now to produce bruises on the cheeks apply a red tone doing softly with a circular motion until it gives the apearance of a bruise, you can apply a green tone at the edges of the bruise, you can do the same on the forehead.
Now if you want more gore, you can buy fake blood, or make your own with some corn syrup and red food color.
You can use the fake blood under the eyes, on the nose and mouth and also outside the ears.
To make fake skin for even more gore.
In this season you can buy liquid latex in almost any store.
Make sure to apply the fake skinn prior to the makeup, so you can apply the makeup on the fake skin.
There are two ways I use liquid latex.
- By itself
Apply 4 to 5 layers of liquid latex on the desired area until you get the desired thiknes, each layer must be dry before you apply the next one or they won't build into each other. - With cotton balls
Get a couple of cotton balls an spread them until you get the desired size of fake skin, apply liquid latex on the area you wish to have the fake skin, put the cotton on top of the latex until you get the desired effect and let it dry before you apply the makeup.
For the final touch add a bit of flour to the hair as well as other parts of the skin without covering your special effects.
And that's it you have an idea on how to make easy homemade halloween costumes
